I don't agree with this odds, in my opinion Egypt is a better team than Algeria. They dominated all the opponents till now in this competition and we all can see that they are prepared for a new title. Egypt is really playing a good football, with a good tactic. Even if Ivory Coast, as example, has a squad that even in Europe they should be playing in high levels, Egypt has more consistency in their game. They've received only two goals, from Cameroon and Nigeria, one from each. Scored a lot of goals, 3 against Nigeria, 3 against Cameroon, 2 against Benin and Mozambique. They've done enough too see that they should win this game and probably the final.
Algeria started bad the competition, 3-0 defeated by Malawi, also a draw against Angola. I know, they defeated Ivory Coast in quarter finals, but I as I said before, Ivory Coast has a great squad by no consistency. However, they managed a lot of goal chances, but they couldn't score, Algeria had defended very well.
I think Egypt won't give them the opportunity to score the first goal, and they can't defeat all the game. They showed against Malawi that they are having a lot of defensive issues. So, I go with a win for Egypt today.
